A professional radon monitor is set at the lowest level of the home. The radon levels are sampled for 48 hours with an average generated at the conclusion of the test. Professional mitigation is recommended if the level is at or above 4.0 pCi/l. Radon gas is the 2nd leading cause of cancer in the US.
